Italian Village Boudoir Photo Shoot
If you grew up in the Columbus, Ohio area, you most definitely remember driving near downtown and getting a waft of the smell of bread baking. For years, Wonder Bread had a bakery located just north of downtown Columbus on North Fourth Street. Even though it closed in 2009, I swear there is still a hint of the warm, fresh smell of bread in the Italian Village area of Columbus. After the bakery’s closing, the space was renovated into residential lofts. This past week we were fortunate to conduct a boudoir photo shoot in one of these Wonder Bread Building loft apartments. It was a fabulous space to have a boudoir photo shoot capturing a variety of styles including a sporty boudoir photo session, sensual portraits, and a lingerie photo shoot.
One highlight of the loft apartment that we photographed this boudoir photo shoot in, is how much history remains intact: from the brick floors to the ceiling pulleys, you can see remnants of Wonder Bread everywhere. The way the loft apartments were designed left room for a spacious courtyard area that was perfect for capturing some outdoor boudoir-styled images. There were even dough troughs used for planters in the courtyard.
Inside the loft apartment we utilized the stairway for for Miss M’s sporty boudoir photo session. Miss M looked exceptionally fit and sporty in her Calvin Kleins and Nike tube socks.
Sensual Portraits
Part of the fun for me in shooting sensual portraits in a new space is the creative challenge of setting up a shot I haven’t done before
Conducting a lingerie photo shoot in different locations continues to provide me and my clients the energy we need to capture intimate, sensual portraits.
Thank you to all three of these beautiful women for spending time in front of my camera in the Wonder Bread Building! Miss M, I hope you felt as gorgeous as you looked after your lingerie photo shoot; then other Miss M your fit and fabulous style stood out in the images from your sporty boudoir photo session; Miss J we captured some incredibly sensual portraits in a very urban space. I hope you all still carry with you the energy and confidence you gained from your boudoir photo shoot.
