OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

When is the last time you had professional photos taken of yourself?  Your wedding or a wedding you were in? Your senior year in high school?  A headshot for work or your LinkedIn profile?  For most of us, especially women who are now wives and mothers, it is just not something we do.  Before you know it a decade or two pass by and you realize you have digital albums full of selfies on your phone, but you have not documented your life through professional images.  I recently had an opportunity to photography the lovely Miss T for an outdoor photography session in downtown Columbus.  Utilizing the best light source possible and the natural backdrops in the arena district near The Buggyworks Lofts, Miss T and I went for a walk with my camera.

What a joy it was experiencing this outdoor photography session with Miss T!  Her prior modeling experience was evident in her confident movements in front of the camera.  As a photographer, I love to have clients continue to move while I am shooting, not being afraid to try a new position with her hands or hips.  While it always takes a while for us to get comfortable with each other,  Miss T fell into the “model” groove very quickly.  I appreciated her energy and willingness to change her look multiple times on a very steamy Columbus, Ohio afternoon.  I look forward to conducting more outdoor photography sessions with other women who are long overdue on having a professional photo shoot!
